How it works

Two questions, then a result

You answer what matters, including where you need to be, and which homes. We do the reading, the measuring and the maths, and show the working.

  1. 1

    Tell us what matters

Drag your priorities into order. First counts the most. Anything you switch off does not count at all.

  2. 2

    Name the places

Work, a school, a station, a beach, family. Up to three. We measure every home to each one, as a line for rivers and beaches.

  3. 3

    Paste your listings

Copy the links from realestate.com.au or domain.com.au. Two at least. We read each one and put it on the map.

  4. 4

    Read the result

A ranking out of 100, why it fell that way, what we had to guess, and pros and cons in plain words.

Our promise

Honest about what we know

A ranking is only as good as its inputs, so every number carries a label saying where it came from, and guesses always look like guesses.

  • Every number has a source

Listed from the portal, found on another listing, estimated by us, stated by you, or verified from a document.

  • Estimates never hide

Italic with a dotted line, and a yellow note telling you how many sit behind your top priorities.

  • Photos never say absent

Anything read from a photo is seen or not visible. Photographers choose what is in frame.

  • We never say buy

Rankings, ranges and trade offs. The decision stays yours, and so does your taste.

More, only when it changes the answer

Some of this you choose before you run. The rest we ask for afterwards, and only where it would visibly change the report.

  • Look at the photos, live now

Measures floorplans, counts the cupboards and wardrobes, checks your must haves and notes things worth asking about. Switch it on before you run, or under any ranking afterwards.

  • Rate the look yourself, live now

Give each home hearts on its property page. Your taste becomes one of your priorities.

  • Upload a Section 32 or fee notice

On any property page. The real owners corporation fees and rates replace anything found or estimated, badged verified.

  • Tell us how you travel, later

Adds commute time and yearly transport cost to the comparison.
